Why AI Safety Matters
AI Safety examines both the immediate and long-term risks posed by advanced AI systems—ranging from misuse and negligent deployment to autonomous AI actions with potentially catastrophic outcomes. The legal community is uniquely positioned to contribute to solutions that align technical advances with societal values.
